In Indonesia we have the traditional version of cotton candy that called "Rambut Nenek", which means GRANDMA'S HAIR
Arum-manis or what is also known as grandma's hair is a snack for children in the 90s, now it's hard to find. Grandma's hair is a traditional snack that comes from Kesambi Village, Lamongan Regency, but some say it comes from Malang. Actually the name of this snack is arbanat, but because initially this food is white and stringy like hair, so it is better known as grandma's hair.
This sweet snack is made from melted sugar and then floured until it is fibrous.
